Our purpose is to help you come to the knowledge that Jesus paid the ransom for your life through the sacrifice of His life on the cross and has restored you back to a right relationship with God through His resurrection.

Our Mission
Here at Ransomed and Restored, we believe that God has given every one of His followers a mission to “go into all the world and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). In other words, our mission is evangelism and discipleship.
Evangelism means nothing more than spreading the name and love of Jesus Christ to everyone we can. We believe that everyone needs to hear the good news because God loves everyone. We desire nothing more than to see the world come to know and love Jesus Christ through a personal relationship with Him.
That being said, we also understand that knowing Jesus requires us to follow after Him and become like Him. Jesus tells us in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me.” That’s where discipleship comes in. Discipleship teaches you how to follow after Jesus daily.

Therefore, this website will focus on evangelism and discipleship. First of all, we will share the good news of Jesus Christ with you here. Also, we’ll provide you with the tools, insights, and encouragement you need to be follow Jesus and experience a personal, daily relationship with you.
About Chris Meche
Now, let me take a moment to introduce myself personally. My name is Chris Meche, and I’m the founder of Ransomed and Restored. In addition to being a missionary and evangelist, I’m also a writer and teacher.
Most of all, I’m a servant of Jesus Christ. I know from firsthand experience what it means to have been ransomed and restored by Jesus. Before Jesus, my life was in shambles. In a nutshell, I was a drunk gambler that didn’t love anyone, much less myself.
As far as Jesus is concerned, I made it my mission to deny him every chance I got. I went as far as studying different religions and cult practices to get away from Jesus.
All this resulted in a miserable life not worth living, so I thought. You see, in a depressed state, I contemplated suicide. I thought, “What’s the point of living?” I had gambled away everything: a marriage, a home, two cars, my relationship with my daughters, and my health.
I figured I had nothing left to live for, but that was the problem. Selfishness ruled my life. I had made an idol out of myself.
Then, one day, Jesus came to me. That’s right. I didn’t find Him. He found me.
As I was walking around town, I remembered the Bible lessons I was taught as a kid. While I thought about these, I heard a voice telling me I knew what I needed to do.
It was God speaking to me telling me that I needed to stop running from Him, and follow Jesus. From that day in 2019, I have surrendered my life to helping others follow Jesus. Currently, I’m a minister ordained through Christian Leaders Alliance.
